Cajun Martini

Ingredients
  • 1 jalapeno pepper; sliced up to stem
  • 1/2 bottle gin
  • 1/2 bottle vermouth
  • 1 pickled green tomato
Instructions
  1. Add jalapeno to gin bottle, fill gin bottle up to lip with vermouth .
  2. Refrigerate 8 to 16 hours (but no longer).
  3. Strain through a double layer of cheesecloth in a funnel into a clean bottle.
  4. Pour into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with pickled green tomato.
  6. This recipe yields 5 to 6 (7-ounce) drinks.
