Beer Margarita

Ingredients
  • 6 ounces can frozen concentrated limeade
  • 4 ounces tequila, preferably Reposado
  • 6 ounces beer, preferably Corona, which is lime-friendly
  • crushed ice
  • lime, quartered for garnish
Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients in blender, add a couple of ice cubes and blend briefly.
  2. Allow to set for a few minutes.
  3. Pour contents over ice in salt rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
  4. If you're so inclined could add more ice and make a frozen version.
  5. The bartender told us to open the beer that you plan to use, and let it set for a while prior to mixing. This will keep the mix from foaming up too much.
Notes
Reposado tequila adds a delicious oaky flavor which pairs perfectly with the lime and beer.
