This Halloween treat is one that sends blood curdling chills down the back of those who see it in a punch bowl.
  • 1 package Cherry Red or Lime Gr Jell-o powder [170g]
  • 8 Cups lemonade (we used Simply Lemonade)
  • pomegranate juice
  • several drops green food coloring
  • cooking spray
  • a pair of non-latex disposable plastic gloves
  • scissor
  1. Lemonade or "Ghoulade" really packs a punch when you float a frightening , ghastly blood-red hand in your serving bowl.
  2. Use red or lime Jell-O powder to make a hand and tint the lemonade green. If you want, just let the gelatin set in a flat container
  3. In a bowl, prepare the gelatin and add pomegranate juice to replace 1/4 of the water. Once blended and the gelatin fully dissolved, pour carefully into a disposable plastic glove that has been turned inside out and given a very light coating of oil. Seal the end of the glove with a twist tie, and place in a bowl to keep its shape. Chill for several hours or overnight.
  4. Using a scissor, remove the glove from the chilled gelatin hand.
  5. Pour the chilled lemonade into a punch bowl, adding ice and green food coloring to give it a ghoulish tint.
  6. Slip the gloveless gelatin hand into the punch just before serving.
We made this for a Halloween party and it scared everyone. When we cut it up, we kept the fingers intact. The one who got "The Finger", washed up.
