Rum Swizzle

  • 1 teaspoon of fine sugar
  • sparkling mineral water
  • 1 2/3 fluid ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • 1 2/3 fluid ounces white rum
  • ice cubes
  • 1 lemon wedge
  1. Build your cocktail by pouring one ingredient at a time and then stirring them together.
  2. Add the sugar first, lemon juice, and sparkling water.
  3. Stir your drink so that the sugar dissolves. After stirring, add a few ice cubes.
  4. Dash the bitters and pour in the rum. If you want, fill the rest of the glass with more mineral water. Make sure everything is stirred well together.
  5. Wedge a piece of lime on the side of the glass.
