A cross between a dessert and a cocktail, this luscious concoction is perfect for celebrating Easter. The marshmallow Peep makes it adorable.  This treat is not for the kiddies.

Easter Chicks Nest

  • 1 3-ounce box strawberry Jell-o
  • 1/2 Cup boiling water
  • 1/2 Cup Grand Marnier
  • 1 Cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 Cup vanilla-flavored vodka
  • 1/2 Cup. whipped cream, plus extra for garnish
  • 4 Peeps marshmallow chicks
  1. In a small bowl, combine Jell-o and boiling water; stir until completely dissolved. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  2. Place dissolved Jell-o, Grand Marnier and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add whipped cream and vodka; blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into four small highball glasses.
  4. Refrigerate for at least two hours.
  5. Garnish with a dollop of whipped and a Peep.
This is not for children. You may replace the Grand Marnier with orange juice, and the vodka may be replaced with Ginger Ale.
