Chai Po Russki (Russian Tea)
Recipe type: Non-Alcoholic Drinks
Serves: 2 Gallons
  • 8 oranges; sliced
  • 6 lemons; sliced
  • 6 cinnamon sticks, 3 inches long
  • 1 Tablespoons cloves, whole
  • 1 Quart water
  • 46 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 1/2 Cups sugar
  • 3 Quarts tea
  1. Combine fruit slices, cinnamon, cloves, and water in a large non-aluminum saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Boil 5 minutes.
  3. Press mixture through a strainer, discarding pulp and spices.
  4. Add pineapple juice, sugar, and tea to citrus mixture, stirring well.
  5. Serve hot.
