Cajun Coffee
Recipe type: Alcoholic Cocktails
Serves: 6
  • 3 Cups hot strong coffee
  • 6 Tablespoons molasses
  • 6 Tablespoons dark Rum (if desired)
  • 1 whipped cream
  • 1 nutmeg (freshly grated)
  1. Combine coffed and molasses in a saucepan.
  2. Heat, stirring, until molasses is dissolved and coffee is very hot.
  3. Do not allow to boil.
  4. If desired place 1 Tbls.
  5. rum in each mug.
  6. Add coffee.
  7. Top with whipped cream; sprinkle with nutmeg.
  8. Do not stir before drinking.
