The cocktail called Café de Paris, after its delectable French namesake restaurant is a smooth, delicious drink with a lovely froth on top and creamy taste of juniper and anise. With strong herbal undertones it warms the heart.
- 1 fluid ounce heavy cream
- 1 egg white
- 2 fluid ounces London dry gin
- 1/2 fluid ounce anisette
- ice cubes
- In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a sour glass.
