Bloody Maria is the Mexican cousin of the Bloody Mary, made deliciously with tequila in place of vodka, and celery salt in place of celery. This will really awaken your palate!

Dip for Rim
  • 1 wedge lemon
  • blend of celery salt, black pepper
Bloody Maria
  • 1 1/2 ounces Tequila
  • 2 1/2 ounces tomato juice, preferably fresh, but canned is acceptable
  • 1 dash lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1 dash celery salt
  • 1 thin slice jalapeno, seedless, finely minced.
  • 1 slice lemon
  1. Rub lemon around the edge of a rocks glass. Dip the glass into a saucer containing the salt and pepper.
  2. Shake all the drink ingredients (except lemon slice) with cracked ice and strain into a rocks glass.
  3. Float the slice of lemon and serve.
