Beery Bramble

Beery Bramble
Recipe type: Alcoholic Cocktails
Cuisine: American
Serves: 2
  • 3 bramble berries or blackberries and 3 pitted, halved cherries, plus more for garnish
  • 4 ounces dry gin
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 ounces simple syrup
  • 1 12 ounces berry flavored wheat beer*
  1. Place your berries and pitted cherries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Muddle with a wooden muddler or a large spoon, then add in your gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  2. Fill with ice and shake well for 10 seconds. Strain into two chilled cocktail or champagne glasses, top with beer, and garnish with an additional berry or two.
If berry-flavored wheat beer isn't available, you may substitute plain wheat beer, and replace the simple syrup with a berry syrup or cherry gastrique.
