Basic Lemonade

Basic Lemonade
Recipe type: Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Serves: 2 1/2 Quarts
  • 6 lemons
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 8 Cup ice water
  • 1 Cup boiling water
  1. Squeeze juice from lemons into a bowl.
  2. Set lemon rinds aside; strain lemon juice into a large pitcher.
  3. Add sugar and ice water; stir until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Place lemon rinds in a bowl and add boiling water.
  6. Let stand until water is cold.
  7. Discard rinds, add water to picher and stir well.
  8. Refrigerate until well chilled.
