Summer is a season for fresh fruits, though Bananenheizen is delectable any time of year. This is wonderful after dinner, as a cold sipping drink.

Recipe type: Alcoholic Cocktails
Cuisine: German
Serves: 1
  • 1/2 liter Weissbier (wheat beer)
  • 1/10 liter Looza Banana juice
  • 1 Pilsner glass, well chilled
  1. While keeping the glass at an angle, so that it does not develop too much foam, gently pour the beer into the glass.
  2. The bottleneck should be submerged slightly into the beer and then slowly withdrawn.
  3. Since the yeast that settles at the bottom of the bottle is a small remnant of wheat beer, shake the bottle and dump it into the wheat beer glass.
  4. Once the foam head sets, fill the glass with well chilled banana juice.
