Baltimore has always been a trading port, and had an ample supply of fine French brandy, Spanish Madeira, Jamaican Rum and sugar to make this luscious nog. Simply wonderful.

Baltimore Eggnog
A colonial era recipe of noteworthy origin and exceptional flavor.

Serves: 1
  • 1 ounce Jamaica Rum
  • 1 ounce Brandy
  • 1 ounce madeira
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 3/4 Cup milk
  • nutmeg; to taste
  1. Shake all ingredients well with cracked ice and strain into a footed Collins glass.
