Comment: My last Pyrex dish came to an untimely end when it failed to rebound off the granite kitchen floor. I was most unimpressed with it's brittleness and this was poor quality item. However this set of three dishes are astounding. The delivery company used them for a game of football in the warehouse but when I opened the box the dishes had survived intact! So far I have used these dishes for demanding tasks such as toad in the hole and cooking frozen peas in the microwave. Tomorrow I am going to test them to their limits with a casserole. The handles on the side mean they don't stack up inside one another, but why would you want to do this when they are such a thing of beauty and you leave them out on display to make your neighbours envious? The glass also contained some minor blemishes (looked like bubbles) but these only act to refract the incoming infra red radiation more precisely to the items within the dishes. The Amazon box was not too big, and the retail box inside it came wrapped in bubble wrap. Inside the retail box there was mainly paper wrapping of each individual item and the contents were kept in place with a sheet of bubble wrap. All of the items were in perfect condition, and not a chip in sight. The dishes themselves are great: it may not be fashionable, but Pyrex is easy to use and clean, and can go in the dishwasher, microwave and oven. Fantastic value for a three dish set. More Reviews
