As the front man of Hootie & The Blowfish, Darius Rucker has already experienced success - earning 2 Grammy awards and selling over 25 million albums worldwide. Now, embracing his country roots and a music he has always wanted to make, Darius is attracting the attention of country fans who are discovering his voice for the first time, and rewarding Hootie fans with new music featuring one of the most unique voices across any genre of music. Featuring his debut country single, "Don't Think I Don't Think About It", Learn to Live features 12 undeniable country hits and a voice that is unarguably Darius Rucker. "I have always written country songs...for me, this is really just part of the natural evolution of my career. I plan to be doing this for a long time. This isn't a one album deal - it's a career thing," explains Rucker.

Customer Rating: Summary: Who would think that Darius could do this.... Comment: A Cd this great only comes around a few times a year, and Darius Ruckers CD would rank number one against most of them. This is one of those CD's you can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track. With his smooth vocals and great storytelling, any country fan who wouldn't pick this up would be out of their mind. Take my advice and pick up this GREAT country CD, you will not be disappionted.
Customer Rating: Summary: Learn to Live Comment: A wonderful album from "Hootie". He really showed how versatile he really is!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Learn to Live Comment: EXCELLENT! Every song could be a #1. I love the richness of Darius Ruckers voice. Loved him in Hootie but this CD is Far Superior!
Customer Rating: Summary: Darius Rucker "Learn to live" Comment: This is the best coming of age country cd I have ever heard there is not one track on this cd that would not be a hit this is gr8. Thanks Darius for you move into country. County's gain pop's loss
Customer Rating: Summary: Absolutely fantastic Comment: I haven't felt compelled to write a review of a music album since Miranda Lambert's debut (which I wore out.) When I heard that Darius Rucker was working on a country album, I was cautiously optimistic. He has such and incredible sound to his vocal talent .. but another 'cross over' country artist?
When the single for "Don't Think I Think About It" came out, I was excited. It's a good song. But the album blows that single away. Forever Road reminds me of some of Keith Urban's work. It's by far my favorite on the album (it's a happy song.) The bonus song to his mother "I Wanna Thank You" puts me in tears, along with "It Won't Be Like This For Long".
This album is fantastic! Thank you Darius Rucker!
