Savannah, Georgia native Anthony David has spent his whole life writing songs with his riveting story telling, passionate guitar playing and stirring voice featured on his major label debut Acey Duecy and introduce the world to Soulbird Music, a venture between Universal Republic Records and the multi-Grammyr winning artist India.Arie. David wrote the song 'A Part Of My Life' for Arie's seven timed Grammyr nominated album Acoustic Soul and then toured with her in support of that record. Shortly thereafter he left to pursue his solo career. He released two independent albums, Three Chords & The Truth (which he recorded for $6000) and Red Clay Chronicles (which he recorded for $15,000). Both albums received high critical acclaim, and earned David thousands of fans world-wide. It is a combination of songs from those two albums that make up Acey Duecy.

Comment: Anthony has definitely found that neo soul niche and working with India Arie has been a great idea. Very steady and strong voice productions make this a must have.

Comment: This cd is worth every penny. A.D. delivers. I seen the cd in best buy and was skeptical about buying it but I did. I am glad I did. My favorite songs are Lady, Words, Cold Turkey and GA Peach. I would recommend this cd to anyone.

Summary: Very Good Neo-Soul cd
Comment: I like many fell in love w/ Words(duet w/ India.Aire) and bought the cd. I read some of the reviews that rated it low due to duplicate songs. I think he released the cds under different labels so you can't knock this brotha for trying to do what he has to to get his music out......what happened to looking at the back of the cd or .......doing a little research-only takes a few minutes on the net. Being a GA Peach I of course love that song and Kinfolk has a nice groove.
Lady w/ Kesha Jackson(Millie's daughter) is a nice song also. Nice cd and I look forward to his new projects in the future.

Comment: This CD was more than I expected, not only do I love it my daughter & sisters love it as well. I went on vacation to Los Angeles and this is the only CD that I brought along with me, my sister and I played it over and over as we enjoyed beautiful sunny California. Anthony David is an awesome singer...
