Summary: simply great!
Comment: This is the best stuff i have seen with these guys, going through different albums, having great fun on the stage and performing superbly. They picked their best songs for this concert - not that i could do that, i love every single song they made. Anyway it has this feel of a very intimate show with a small crowd of people. They are actually playing with the instruments while performing great music. You will not regret buying it. And SB deserves your buy :)

True musicians in the days when you don't have to do something special to become famous.
Great songs mostly from their latest CD but who cares.
I love Neal Morse but Nick has a better voice.
There is a kickass drum solo of both drummers.

Summary: Just one little complaint...
Comment: As someone new to SB I'm utterly impressed with everything this band does and the DVD does an excellent job of illustrating how talented and versatile these guys are- how they reproduce a complex and awesome CD sound live.
My only complaint is suffering a little "genius overload". Song after song is an awesome display of musical talent and you actually start to take it for granted and miss some of the things they do!
Highly recommended, especially if you're a musician. I would have liked to see Alan Morse's guitar rig just to discover how he gets some of those sounds.

Summary: Spock's Beard makes for a very entertaining show!
Comment: This DVD is awesome. They put on such a fun live show, and the DVD shows it. Ryo is one crazy dude and is guaranteed to make you laugh even before you reach the DVD menu. Also, Jimmy Keagan is one amazing drummer, and some of his fills will make drummer drop their jaw (bring a drummer myself). NVD really loves to play music, and his running around between the front of the stage and behind the kit is very impressive (and humorous at times). NDV's voice is stellar on this!!!
The production is awesome. I'm surprised they were able to get such good camera angles in such a small and crowded venue. The audio is also mixed beautifully.
If were unsure or turned off by the new-age Spock, try this DVD. It just may change your mind!
