I'm not familiar with what is considered peridot, but the green comes a little darker than you see. I'm not really a green clothing person ( apart from Irish attire), but I do love the style to this. Another thing is I love my skirts to twirl when I spin around, but it doesn't. But it does move pretty good when you do the twist. I never owned a wrap dress before, so I was suprised by the ease to put it on. You don't put it over your head, or slip your feet through it; you first put it on like a robe. Then, there is a hole on the side to thread one of the straps through. If you do like peridot shade of green, I'm sure you will rate this a 5.
I'm going to keep this dress, as I'm sure I'll warm up to this more soon.
Edit: It been some weeks now that I have this dress, and I come to love it and be more satisfied with it today than when I first owned it. I also saw that when I'm in the sunlight, or the lighting whenever I'm in certain stores, the dress comes out to be the color you see on the pc, or close enough. I love having something this easy to put on while running errands and stuff. I have no regrets to keeping this dress instead of returning it, and it's nice to go out in as well. I would change the stars, but it won't allow me that option, but I'd now say it's a 4.
