Summary: Excellent salad bowls
Comment: These bowls have a beautiful shape and look very nice on the dining table. I love these bowls, and use them every day. I use them for my vegetable stews and curries. I also use them as salad serving bowls & salads look great in them. They are beautifully designed and great for tossed salads for 2 to 10, depending on the bowl you use. They are quite heavy, sturdy and easy to maintain. I throw mine into the dishwasher. I bought my set for Walmart for about the same price. I'd have bought it from amazon.com had I known that they carried it. I'm thinking of getting a second set. At Walmart, you can buy individual bowls. The smallest one can be used as individual soup bowls.

Comment: These bowls have revitalized my baking! Of tough tempered glass, they are deep and narrow enough to be truly splash-proof. Perfect for everything from egg-whites to large batches of cookies or cake - and they are compact enough to store easily.

Comment: the thing i dont like about these bowls is that there very hard to use a mixer cause there not round like most mixing bowls, i got them as a wedding gift from my Aunt. if i was you i would go with the big glass round mixing bowls not these there just to hard to mix in.

Comment: These are great mixing bowls, at a terrific price. They go in oven and microwave, they are strong, the steep sides facilitate mixing and scraping out, they balance on the palm of your hand which comes in handy, they stack comfortably in less cupboard space, and they're Anchor Hocking quality. I love 'em!
