Summary: Awsome radio
Comment: I love this radio. It has the built in bluetooth which is really cool. I don't have to look for my phone when driving, i just press the knob button on the radio. Also, I can customize my sound which really enhances my speakers, unlike the factory radio in my monte carlo. This is the radio for me!!!!

Summary: Works great with iPod and phone
Comment: I haven't bought anything but Alpine in years. Unfortunately, with most of the Alpine decks, you can only control the iPod from the deck. This proves difficult and frustrating, especially with large libraries. Since the iPod Touch has such a great interface, it's simple to control. This Pioneer deck allows you to easily choose if you want the iPod to be in control or the deck. Plus, when the iPod is in control, you can still track forward and back with the deck.
Another nice feature is the built-in Bluetooth. It paired with my phone, copied my address book to the deck, and auto-connects whenever I get in the car. Also, it mutes the music when a call comes in. The supplied microphone lets you choose the best placement for your car too.
The display is bright. However, I discovered a useful feature. You can easily set the display to turn off after a few seconds. Very nice.

Comment: A los que les gusta el mundo del sonido con con un toque de sencillez, esta unidad Pioneer es una de las mejores en su categoria. Su interfaz USB con capacidad hasta 250 GB y su conexion de control completo con el iPod hacen de esta unidad exelente para la instalacion en el vehiculo, al igual con la conectividad Bluetooth se olvida uno por completo de estar disminuyendo el sonido cada vez que uno recibe una llamada telefonica, importa todos tus contactos del directorio telefonico del radio.
Es una exelente decision y una muy buena eleccion.

Summary: Low Quality Materials
Comment: after installing this head unit I was very disappointed at the
low quality material the main knob is made out of. It is Very Easily
scratched and looks "worn out" only after a few times using it. Shame on you
Pioneer!

Summary: Flexible and sounds good
Comment: The pioneer has it all. Blue tooth works well after you learn how to pair your phone to it. The instructions provided by pioneer did not work. I had to experiment a bit until I found a way to do it. However, it still won't download my contacts. The hands free phone interupt is flawless. the tone and sub controls are incredibly flexible allowing you several selections for the bandpass of the sub and crossover of the main speakers. Sat radio is a great feature to add easily. Ipod integration works perectly too.
