Summary: Good machine, excellent price!!
Comment: It's not the best computer of the world, but I think it's ok for the price. Good RAM memory, good processor, acceptable disk space. For that price, it's a good adquisition!

Summary: sony viao laptop
Comment: the lap top came on time and in great condition. i saved a bunch getting it as an opened box item and i am glad i did. i got a brand new product for almost $200 less than i would for an unopened box.

Summary: Satisfied with Sony!
Comment: I received the vgn-nr330e as a birthday present so all the annoyances that came along with it weren't mentally tallied as dollar signs flying out the window, but for the listed price nobody could be expecting something tailored to their every whim. I'm enjoying the crystal clear picture on the 15 inch(extremely reflective if off but 100% glare free if on)screen. I was also relieved to learn that if the keys are forcefully detached(new puppy with large, stupid feet)they pop right back on again, which may be true of all laptop keyboards but was a relief nonetheless. I actually enjoy the offers, windows vista and norton were the most helpful and I bought them both when the free trials ran out. Corel paint is painfully tempting but way too expensive for someone who lived their whole life with no desire to photoshop anything. Connectivity hasn't been an issue, battery life is average and the warnings/popups are helpful. Running out of juice isn't scary because once you plug it back in, you're right back where you started like you had paused everything you were doing(however pressing the power button wont just shut it off). The touch pad is great if you turn off the 'tapping' feature, otherwise it's more touchy than tappy.
I have to say I'm not a Sony hater, haven't yet met a troublesome product(not counting the walkman that refused to play anything "techno", but hey can you blame it?) and I'm really enjoying my vaio. I can safely say I'll be trusting Sony until I'm confronted with a reason to doubt the brand and until that time I encourage anyone who wants a computer they can enjoy AND use for work to give it a try.
