Customer Rating: Summary: Meh Comment: Maybe it's just my body type, but these look pretty bad on me. And after wearing them around the house for a couple hours they were already losing shape. I give them a meh. But for the price I paid, I guess I'll wear them around the house now and then. Or maybe donate to a shelter.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nicely cut, comfortable trouser for work Comment: I wish they had these in several colors and I would now get one of each. The cut is generous; more like what one gets at a major department store versus a Walmart or Target. They are quite suitable for most workplaces, not corporate attire, but educational settings, offices etc... The pockets do look jean-like, but the fabric is like a smooth cotton sheeting with a perfect amount of stretch. Pretty lightweight, not really winter material. Great for the south most of the year though. I love that they don't bind or gather around any trouble spots, and hang nicely from the hip. Plenty generous in the hips and thighs, if you have proportionately thin legs, you may not like these. As other Jeanstar reviewer have noted, this brand seems to be for a more generous cut. Since I'm pretty curvy, I really like this trouser.
Pros: Price can't be beat; good material and cut, pockets and beltloops if needed, but not distracting if you don't.
Cons?: These pants are long. I had to hem them about an inch and a half just to wear them with two inch heels. I'm no giant, but I usually wear a medium length pant with two inch heels and I'm good to go. Other than that, I'm happy.
