Boasting a line up that includes members of such influential metal bands as HATEBREED, DOWN, CROWBAR, and more, the infamous KINGDOM OF SORROW has been unveiled. The brainchild of vocalist/HATEBREED mastermind Jamey Jasta and riff-master Kirk Windstein, KINGDOM OF SORROW tears through an 11 track barrage of some of the most punishing, straight-up metal in years. Tracks such as "Lead Into Demise", "Demon Eyes (Demonized)", "Lead the Ghosts Astray" are as memorable as they are heavy, while the haunting "Screaming At the Sky" shows a new side to these often-copied, yet never duplicated metal luminaries. KINGDOM OF SORROW is the incredible next step in the illustrious careers of two of metal's most-celebrated heavyweights.

Customer Rating: Summary: It's only ok Comment: This album is only ok. I don't like the 'melodic' aspect that they are trying to create. The musicianship is only fair and is pretty predictable. Definately not a terrible piece of work, but nothing to write home about.
Customer Rating: Summary: Three Words Comment: Wast Of Time!!! This is pityful example of these artist! Come On guys, can't you do any better than this! Pass this one By! Who are you kidding? I got rid of my copy! Wast of time!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: thunder Comment: sounds like hatebreed vocals with crowbar music with a heavier twist.
"Buried in Black" and "Led Into Demise" are my faves. KoS has a thunderous sound.
Customer Rating: Summary: One of the better releases of 2008 Comment: I have never been into Hatebreed much. In fact I didn't even know the lead singer of Kingdom of Sorrow was from Hatebreed, so I didn't have any expectations. I might be criticized for saying this but Kingdom of Sorrow has a few elements that slightly remind me of Pantera...
Overall, a fantastic metal album that is in moderate rotation on my mp3 player. I would definitely recommend to others. A masterpiece it is not.
Customer Rating: Summary: Cool Riffs....but I should have waited for the live Skinlab CD Comment: So it isn't Hatebreed, but it's still the familiar voice. The riffs are strong, and as always the vocals are excellent. My problem is nothing really stands out....it's a solid record, just didn't grab me with the usuall agression that comes along with anything Jasta has done. I probably should have waited for the new live Skinlab CD...that should take care of my aggression needs.
