Customer Rating: Summary: Comments Comment: It's an excellent set for a Sox fan to relive their run to the championship. The only thing I wish MLB would do is what the NBA and NHL do is release the champions conferance final series as well complete. I wish MLB had continued what they done in 2004. Also wish they included game 2 of the ALDS featuring Manny Ramirez game winning three run home run.
Customer Rating: Summary: What's not to like? Comment: OK, so maybe they could have put more in about the sweep of Anaheim, and maybe (OK, probably) they could have included a clip of the Mothers Day Miracle in the bonus DVD, but this set ROCKS!
What's not to like about the 3rd WS victory for the Bosox in 4 years? What's not to like about being able to fast-forward through Joe Buck and Tim (bad hair-dye job) McCarver every game? And what's not to like about them throwing in games 5-7 of the ALCS, where the Sox came back and just demolished the Indians, who actually thought they had a chance to win.
Go Sox!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: How to you get the radio announcers? Comment: This is not a bad set. However, there no direction or choice for the radio announcers vs. the Fox announcers (who no self-respecting Red Sox fan can stand). I'm pretty savvy with stuff like this, but can't find it anywhere. Can anyone out there help?
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Set!!! Comment: This is just as advertised. My only regrets are that they don't show ALL of Clay's no-hitter nor do they show all of the ALCS/ALDS. But they do state that in the product information.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very Disappointing! Comment: After the spectacular 2004 version, this package is disappointing (at best)for even the most ardent Sox fan like myself. Limited game selection and VERY poor quality broadcasts (they look like a TV broadcast of a TV broadcast, even on HD TV) make this a flop. MLB's World Series DVD is surprisingly better, and almost as comprehensive.
