Directions: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do not crush, chew, or break tablet. Take with a full glass of water. This product can be administered without regard for the timing of meals. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: One or two tablets every 12 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Children under 12 years of age: Do not use. Store between 20-25°C (68-77°F). See bottom of bottle for lot code and expiration date. Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious illness. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Comment: Have been using Mucinex when it was still a prescription med. The price I paid for this bottle of 100 tablets (approximately $25) is by far the best price I have ever found. I also believe it to be superior to the generics I have also used. If Amazon continues the good price, I will continue to purchase here.

Comment: Because of certain medications I take, I'm limited in what I can take for congestion. Even with the Mucinex, I don't take the D or the DM (unless I'm dealing with a bad cough). The regular Mucinex does the trick for me. I think those who say it doesn't work don't take it long enough to experience real results. After a couple of days, you feel much better. As a matter of fact, I have the worst sinuses in the world, and after taking Mucinex, I've improved with that, too. It's more costly, but worth it.
