Comment: Easy to assemble. Not totally universal. We had an older rope-style hammock that was too long for this stand.

Comment:
This stand appears to be sturdy and is super easy to set up. The hammock I originally had on it would cause the whole stand to tip over in a moderate wind (10 mph). It would probably be more suitable for a string/rope hammock that did not have so much wind resistance. The jury is still out on how it holds up being out in the damp southeast Texas weather.
