Editorial Reviews:

John's new album is a triumph, with a sound that is at once timeless yet urgently rooted in this time and place. The lyrics recall a continuous conversation with America, a reminder of John's unmatched ability to resonate with people from all walks of life. With a voice that can cut glass and inspire generations, and a band that sounds like it came to tear the roadhouse down, 'Revival' is not just a great John Fogerty album -- and a great rock album -- it's an essential musical work by an artist without peer, that will certainly stand as one of the most compelling albums of 2007.

Summary: excellent
Comment: When I recieved this I was a little disapointed because it came in a paperback case inside of the plastic but the cd was perfect. It was in perfect condition so it really didn"t matter it didn"t come in a plastic case.I highly recommend this item.

Summary: It sounds great
Comment: Mr. Fogerty sounds pretty much like he did back in the days he was making music with Creedence. I fell for this CD when I heard 'Don't You Wish It was True'. He sings about some of the spoiled brats who have fame, and there's even a political rant on there. This CD is timeless and so very Fogerty.

Summary: Typical John Fogerty
Comment: John Fogerty is a real talent when it comes to writing and performing and this album is no exception for the most part. On the other hand, "I can't take it no more" wreaks of election agenda. I have been a fan of his for many years but this song crosses the line. John and The Dixie Chicks can now be mentioned in the same breath. They should stick to what they do best; create music.

Summary: Wish I heard it before I bought it!
Comment: John Fogerty is one of the greatest talents in American history. I wish he would stick to swamp music and stay out of politics. I feel cheated on my purchase of this CD; if I wanted his opinion on politics I would have called him on the phone.

Summary: Fogerty is all the way back
Comment: "Revival" is the nicest surprise of the year. Fogerty is in fine vocal form
and the tunes are all top-notch. As far as the style of the songs, the disc
could easily have been called "Cosmo's Factory II". A rare Fogerty ballad
"Broken Down Cowboy" along with "Don't You Wish It Was True" are gems.
