Even if I were able to stuff my laptop down inside the bag I would be afraid the rough, heavy metal zipper of the bag would scratch it. I'm pretty happy with it. It's gorgeous, looks even nicer than I expected. It has plenty of space inside, pockets on the sides and front and a zipper compartment in the front. It seems to be well made and the straps appear to be leather (very nice). It fits my (14.1x10.6x1.5-1.7 inch) laptop, the only thing that I'd say annoys me is that it's a hassle to get it in it and out. I'm afraid that the zipper may scratch up the sides of my laptop. For now it's bearable and hopefully with further use it'll be easier. The inside is divided in two and on one side there are thin cushions for the laptop. I plan on using this often whether I'm transporting my laptop in it or not.
