ZenTM, like all Tazo green teas, is prepared in a way that maintains the natural health benefits, color and taste. The tea is steamed to neutralize the oxidating enzyme, then dried using a panfired technique to bring out the maximum flavor. Like black teas, ZenTM and other Tazo green teas are made from the same botanical species, Cameila Sinensis and can contain as much caffeine as black teas.

Summary: very good tea
Comment: i tried a differnt TAZO tea, AWAKE, and did not care it at all. It was bitter & pooky tasting in my opinion. i also tried another tazo tea in a yellow box but i forget the name of it. once again, i didn't care for it. I was going to give up on TAZO But then i tried this particular flavor (ZEN) and it is quite good. i really like it a lot. It has a very mellow & sweetish flavor, no bitterness that i can detect.

Comment: There's nothing more pleasant than sipping a cup of Tazo zen tea. Not
only is it good for you, but the taste is wonderful. With all of the
bad news in the world, break away for a quiet, peaceful moment with your
favorite book and a cup of zen. You'll be so glad you did.

Summary: Drink it every night
Comment: After first experiencing this tea from across a table in NYC, I had to taste it myself. The aroma starts the relaxation process before the first sip. I am NOT a green tea drinker in general, as I find them to be somewhat tasteless. But this tea relaxes and refreshes with it's subtle mint and lemon flavor. If you don't experience the flavor, you aren't steeping the bag long enough. I find it to be the perfect every night tea just before bed. I only wish I could purchase it in larger quantity.

Summary: Best green tea for someone who doesn't like green tea!
Comment: I hate the taste of green tea, but want the health benefits. Celestial Seasonings makes a decent mint green tea, but this Tazo one is far superior. You can't even tell that it's green -- it just tastes like really good, minty herbal tea.

Summary: Very good for the price!
Comment: I find the spearmint in this tea to be very refreshing mixed with the green tea. Not the best, but certainly a good tea for those on a budget. I drink this daily, and have some better, full-leaf green teas on special occasions. Good, expensive brands of green tea are: Ineeka and Two Leaves and a Bud.
