Editorial Reviews:

Jason, Grant, and the TAPS crew are back for a third season of chills and suspense as they look to uncover the reality behind seemingly haunted locations around the world! After their thorough investigations, even skeptics will have to think twice! Now, you can join the real life "ghostbusters" as they search for the truth and uncover the truly bizarre. Season 3 – Part 1 includes the first 10 episodes of the most watched season of the Ghost Hunters series like they have never been seen before with extended scenes and bonus footage that did not air on TV!

Join TAPS as they investigate legendary Western locations such as the OK Corral, The Copper Queen Hotel, and the famous ghost town of Tombstone, Arizona. Follow the team as they look to uncover what’s behind spine-tingling occurrences at the West Virginia Penitentiary. Is there really the spirit of a little girl trapped inside the Johnson family house in Vermont? Plus, for the first time ever, TAPS heads to Ireland to investigate four of the country’s most supernatural locations, Leap and Lisheen Castles, the Viaduct Tavern, and the Hellfire Caves. Plus many more investigations and a look back at some of the best moments from previous investigations of The Stanley Hotel made famous by Stephen King’s "The Shining."

Summary: Best so far
Comment: Season 3, Part 1 is the best of the Ghost Hunters series so far. Thankfully, all the internal politics that was featured in earlier series has been sorted [or at least no longer seen as good TV], the meaningless roto-rooter sponsor messages have been minimised and the production quality has been improved. But most importantly, the quality of the locations has improved dramatically. Trips to 'The Shining' hotel and the UK are much more interesting than visiting some spook from the mid west who has been on the moonshine for way too long.
Good stuff.
