Customer Rating: Summary: Not heavy duty enough for blackberry thorns Comment: The finger and palm area of these gloves is not heavy duty enough to prevent penetration by blackberry thorns. The reason I got them was to protect my arms while cutting down blackberries. However, I managed to put on heavy duty short leather gloves over top of these gloves and managed to achieve both arm and hand protection.
