A high quality electronic red dot sight. Brand name from NcStar. Made from metal and will fit on Weaver rails. 30mm Sharp bright field of view, fully coated lens, and heavy recoil proof. Will work on the Tippmann 98, 98 custom, custom pro, and the A5. Will also fit on any other gun or rifle that has Weaver rails. Comes with an extra battery and a cleaning cloth. There is 11 settings for the red dot and also a left and right and up and down setting too.

Summary: Cool product, but you'll need more
Comment: The red dot is a great improvement if you're looking to up your accuracy, but keep in mind that you'll be wearing goggles while using it. You will probably have to get an offset mount for your hopper to keep it out of your field of view, and you'll have to be picky with your stocks because they might hinder your ability to sight down the rail. Also, notice that this fits on Weaver rails - not dovetails. IN OTHER WORDS, IT DOES NOT FIT THE 3/4" DOVETAIL RAILS THAT YOUR 98 OR A-5 IS SPORTING OFF THE SHELF! You can get it on, but it will be sitting at a precarious angle that is just begging to fall off mid-game.
That said, the sight itself if very intuitive. The large knob on top controls how bright the dot appears in your sight (seven settings in addition to "off"), and the smaller knobs adjust the x- and y-axis position of the dot within the sight. They are adjusted using a straight screwdriver and are protected by screw-on caps that twist independently of the adjustment screws (so you don't alter the red dot's position when you unscrew them). Obviously, this makes it next to impossible to adjust on the field, but the tradeoff of a constant sight is probably worth it.

Comment: This is a great scope for all of you "plinkers" out there. I mounted it on a Beretta Neos U22 target pistol & I can definitely hit my target. This type of sight is a good solution for those of us that are suffering from age induced near-sightedness; you can sight with both eyes open.

Comment: Sorry, Janice is not my real name. I forgot my sign in name so I had to use my sister's. I just got my NcStar 30mm scope.It is a nice red dot scope, I have a 98 custom. There was no problem with installing it. It fits nicely on the rail. I like it because you can either keep the flaps on and flip them up or you can take them off, I suggest that you take them off while you play so you don't loose them because they come off easily. I suggest that you keep the setting on 8 or 9 (dot brightness) but you can go either way. To turn it on you just simply turn the setting from 0 to your desired brightness. It will will take a little while to zero it but after that it is really accurate. I am very happy with it and I would recommend it to anyone with a 98 or an A5.
