Summary: These are great, if your child doesn't destroy them.
Comment: These spouts are great, but my daughter has been through about 10 of them in last few months. She chews on them and they seem to start leaking very quickly. I think if she wasn't still teething, they would be great. We're back to the drawing board to find the perfect cup. :)

Summary: The only spouts my son will use!
Comment: I love these! I've used Avent and my son doesn't know what to do with hard nipple. These are soft and do not leak. We put them on the Born Free bottles because they hold more liquid. These are perfect for toddlers transitioning from bottles to sippy cups.

Summary: requires some hard sucking
Comment: They will keep the leaks out but require your little one to really suck.
I only use this as a alternative to the Drink Cup when we are traveling.

Summary: Expensive & poorly designed - LOTS of better BPA free options now
Comment: We had to get some of these for the bottles.

Like: 1) Removable handles, 2) BPA Free

Dislike: 1) Ridiculously expensive, 2) Fidgety extra parts that do nothing except require cleaning and slow you down when you try to fill it. 3) LEAKS! - No valve except the hole in the cup spout. 4) No valve except in the cup spout. Our daughter chewed on one and the hole got a LOT bigger and leaks like crazy now - you can buy replacements for $7 for a pair.

My wife bought a bunch of these and matching bottles in the big BPA scare last year. Now there are MANY better and much cheaper options. I recommend anyone investigate those first

Summary: ok.... but poor quality spout
Comment: I recently purchased a BornFree training cup that uses this spout for my six month old ... mainly because it is Bisphenol-A free. I have been using the BornFree glass bottles and really love those - except that the measuring marks have started to fade away from dishwashing. I have to say that I am a little disappointed with the material quality of the spout. The spout opening is Y-shaped (just like the bottle nipples ... so what's the point of transitioning?) and tiny rubber pieces stick out around it. Also, after the first use I noticed a tear in the spout ... not sure if it was there when I bought it. My daugther did bite on the spout, but she has no teeth yet ... so this should not happen. The reason for my rather positive rating is that the BornFree training cup is Bisphenol-A free and that the spout, valve, and handle are compatible with the BornFree bottles. I would recommend it to anyone who is concerned about baby's health.
