These added comfort and seemed to do the job at a reasonable price. Upon receiving them and wearing them, the fabric is thin, the padding is thin, and they're the only bike shorts I own that I can't wear to spin class due to the thin padding. I mountain and rode bike and was extremely disappointed in the quality of these shorts. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing another pair of shorts from this company. The only problem I had with these was the stay in place strip on the end of the short. I attribute the problem to sensitive skin, but I ended up with a rash on my legs from it. They make the ride more comfortable on my backside - the only slight drawback is the elastic around the thighs. They are not tight on me but could be on someone with larger thighs.
