Customer Rating: Summary: good backpacker product! Comment: I bought this towel for a backpacking trip through Costa Rica. It was so light weight and took up very little room in my backpack. I loved that aspect of it. The texture of it took a little getting used to as it tends to grab on your skin and not slide over it. It took a little longer to dry than I anticipated, and smelled after a few uses. I would use it again in a heartbeat for another trip, but not for home. I highly recommend it for someone for whom space is a concern, and it can double as a small blanket if you need it. I've used it on a camping trip and as a backpack item on a car safari through Nova Scotia and PEI. It's handy, dries out quickly, and easy to pack. If you're travelling in an area where you might need a towel for spur of the minute swimming or wading or you're going to an area where your hotel probably won't provide bath towels bigger than postage stamps, I highly recommend this towel. A micronet towel is a truly handy item. As the late Douglas Adams wrote:
