The Prickly Pear Cactus flourishes in the beautiful, dry desert climate of the southwest. When the long rain drenched days have ended this thorny red fruit is carfeully plucked cleaned and pressed for it's luscious juice. The result is a sweet tasting syrup with teh joyous flavor of the fruit found only in the desert. This wonderful syrup can be used to enhance the flavor of your margarita and in recommended as a crowning glory to pies, crepes, or in homemade icecream. Use your imagination! Of course you could use it on waffles and pancakes too.

Comment: I love the Prickley Pear juice margarita at a local restaurant and decided to make one for myself. I ordered Cahill's prickley pear syrup and was not disappointed. It is delicious. The on-line order was completed quickly and this product was by far one of the least expensive I found. It is very good and tastes just like the one I order at the restaurant. I ordered two bottles because the shipping & handling for just one was higher than the product cost (shipped across country). You get a deal if you order two.
I recommend this product if you love to add flavor to your margaritas (and other recipes).
