Summary: not what i expected
Comment: i bought this light mainly for a friend, and i'm not sure if it's my fault for lack of reading...but i expected something different. Mainly it had to do with the battery. I thought it would hold a regular size battery but it doesn't. So now i hope the battery has a decent life span as i don't even know where to find it, seems like it requires special ordering via the internet

Comment: I've been riding for 40 years. I don't think any bicycle head light is bright enough to light the road when you are moving along, especially downhill. You just have to get used to it. This one is excellent to warn cars though and it does provide some light. Simple design, steady light, simple blink and off. All you need. I get annoyed by too many useless blink patterns. Easy on batteries. Small enough thieves USUALLY don't notice it and it's out of the way. Easy to slide off and on. I've never had a problem with 3 of them in 3? 4? years use (one stolen) and I ride over very bumpy streets and do a lot of miles. Inexpensive. I bought two, one to keep in my backpack.

Summary: Great light
Comment: This light is surprisingly bright - a surprise based on some of the negative reviews. I typically ride in my neighborhood, so I don't need a super bright headlight, just enough light to see the road debris ahead of me and to let the idiot Lexus drivers know I'm out there. It was easy to install, and so far the battery life is excellent. It appears to be sturdy enough for my riding habits, which aren't too extreme, so I think this will be a great product for my bicycle.

Summary: turn on the bright lights
Comment: the light is as described: small, bright, easy to attach. i've encountered some lights with poor design features - such as trying to adjust setting while you're riding and the light just flies off into the road. this light, however, is very well designed. long battery life, easily adjustable, and illuminates well. i recommend it.
