Customer Rating: Summary: My favorite earth-friendly, antibacterial, non-drying, philosophical soap Comment: Dr. Bronner's has been a staple of mine for years; love it, fantastic. In the liquid form, a little goes a long way - usually I squirt a drop on a washcloth and lather up in the shower. Being a person with really sensitive skin prone to breakouts, I was looking for something with antibacterial properties that wouldn't dry out my skin the way typical soap does, and this does the trick. I've used all kinds of soap, from commercial (Dove un/scented, Olay, Irish Spring, stuff with salicylic or glycolic acid in it, etc) to homemade fancy soaps (local soapmakers who put tea tree, lavender, comfrey, etc. in their soaps, each bar unique and hand crafted) and keep coming back to this one. Finally, I've decided this is all that's needed, although the handcrafted soaps are fun to buy from time to time. I do need to use moisturizer afterwards, but this soap really does clean well without stripping your skin of oil. Also, part of the charm of Dr. Bronner's unique philosophy printed on the bottle - entertaining, a bit hippie-ish, funny and profound at the same time, it's fun to read while you're in the shower. The scent of this soap is really strong of tea tree, so if you're not used to it, it could take some getting used to. It's totally okay to mix the lavender with this soap, or put your own scented oil in. This bottle is huge - the one I has lasted for more than 6 mos., so this two for one deal is really amazing. Since moving away from SF, it's been hard for me to find this soap in stores, so it's wonderful that Amazon is offering it - cheaper than the regular price I usually paid. Hope they keep offering Dr. Bronner's for very long time - it's the best. Customer Rating: Summary: Great product ! Comment: It feels so good to use a so natural product and not to flush chimicals with our water. It lathers very nicely, rinses quickly and that combine with a new filter to remove the chlorine from our shower, I don't feel the need to put cream anymore on my body. All that saved me money and time and makes me feel good in my head. Tea Tree has natural antibacterial properties so I feel even safe to wash my little ones hands, eventhough I prefer the lavander scent for example. And last but not the least Amazon has such great deals ! Thank you Amazon !
