Editorial Reviews:

Invicta's large-sized Pro Diver G2 stainless steel men's automatic watch is perfect for the serious diver who also wants to turn heads with a stylish watch. This shock-resistant timepiece features a solid stainless steel case that's topped by a unidirectional rotating bezel with embossed elapsed time markings and scalloped edges. The black dial face includes large Tritnite luminous markers and hands (with seconds hand) and a date window at 3 o'clock with magnifier. It's matched with a comfortable black rubber strap with rounded accents, and it's joined by a buckle. Other features include a see-through case back, anti-reflective mineral crystal, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--suitable for recreational diving.

An automatic (or self-winding) watch is fitted with a device (rotor) that automatically winds the spring by using the force of gravity. It needs no battery, but it will stop if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time--as long as you're moving, the watch will stay powered. Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet invented the self-winding mechanism in 1770. It worked on the same principle as a modern pedometer, and was designed to wind as the owner walked.

Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

About Invicta
Latin for "invincible," Invicta was founded in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland in 1837 by Raphael Picard, who believed that fine Swiss timepieces could be offered at modest prices. For more than a century, the company has created distinctive manual and automatic-winding pieces. In 1991, descendants of the Picard family reaffirmed the company's founding principle, and the invigorated Invicta has been growing ever since with one of the most widely diverse collections of precise Swiss timepieces on the market.

Summary: Love this watch
Comment: Only worn it a couple of times, but I love this watch for a weekend watch or at the pool, the beach, this watch just fits my life style for all the water sports that I enjoy during the summer

Summary: I Love This Watch
Comment: This was the first Invicta I purchased and I am sure happy that I did. It is a very solid watch and I receive many compliments on it. The photos do not really do it justice, it is a great looking watch. However it does run a bit fast and picks up about 2 minutes a week, but so do my Seikos!

Summary: a decent mechanical watch for a good price
Comment: DON'T:
- expect this watch to be accurate - mine is about 4 min/week fast. But then since you don't have to wind it up - adjusting time once a week is not too much of a chore
- expect fluorescent to last for 20 hours. It is very bright for about 30 minutes then goes down pretty fast. Overall, I'd say you can read time in the dark for about 1 hr.
- expect this watch to be quiet. It ticks loudly and the pendulum inside rotates pretty noisily.

DO:
- expect this watch to look and feel nice on your hand
- expect this watch to be waterproof (I didn't dive with it but threw it in water for an hour or so)
- expect the front to be relatively resilient to scratches.

Overall, I like this product and would buy it again for 70 dollars. But NOT for 300 or whatever listed price. It's a cheap automatic waterproof mechanical watch that looks great but doesn't keep time very accurately. The packaging is very nice too (yellow box with a soft cloth to wipe the face)

Summary: ANOTHER GREAT WATCH FROM INVICTA I HAVE 15 HIGHLEY RECOMEND THE INVICTA BRAND TO ANY ONE WHO WANTS A GREAT/ELEGANT TIMEPIECE
Comment: ANOTHER GREAT WATCH FROM INVICTA I HAVE 15 OF THEM,I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE INVICTA BRAND TO ANY ONE WHO WANTS A GREAT/ELEGANT TIMEPIECE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.

Summary: Lost time, fogged up.
Comment: Liked the look of the watch but it lost at least five to fifteen minutes a week which was annoying. 'Pro-diver Collection' might be a bit of a misnomer as water has leaked in and the condensation on the interior face makes it difficult to read.
