Comment: The watch is fine. If you're used to casio watches it is just like most of them. Be aware that the gold plating is only on the outside. The back of the band, sides of the band, and back of the watch are chrome (or silver) color.

Comment: I was unhappy with the design of the face of the watch I had. The border of this watch is much narrower than my previous watch. Regarding my previous watch, the date number in the upper right section of the face were up against the border. It made it difficult for me to tell if the number was a 1 or a 7, a 4 or a 9, etc. The design of this watch with the narrow border, the date digits are not tight against the border, but are positioned away from the border so that I am able to see them more clearly. I have also noted that the smaller border has enabled the designer to enlarge the digits of the time and day of the week information as well. I can read the information much more easily and that is the reason I was looking for another watch. My old watch, which happened to be a different brand, was running well and keeping good time, just more difficult for me to see. I am very pleased with this time piece. For all the reasons I needed a new watch, this fits the bill. (I am never happy with the "original equipment" watch bands, so I immediately replace the band that came with it with the one off my old watch and I was off and running.)

Comment: I have always bought timex watches for years but they dont last long. This time I decided to try a casio on my brothers recommendation. The display is laeger and easier to read. The quality appears excellent. I did switch the band to a twist-o-flex for comfoft.

Comment: Excellent product: attractive, sturdy, accurate, and inexpensive. And, the digital numbers are large enough to read easily, even for an old man like myself.

Summary: Works as advertised....but....
Comment: I ordered this watch thinking I was fully informed as to what would
arrive, that is, a gold tone retro-watch. I was a little surprised
and disappointed to find a silver tone watch, instead. Not a
big deal, I suppose. It was a cheap enough losing gamble that I gave it
to my son, who loves it. I'm sure it will serve him well.
On the bright side, it only took three days to get here!
