Summary: The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread!
Comment: The Amazon River is awesome. Amazon.com is awesome. The Kindle is awesome!
I use it every day and am currently in Australia on vacation and my Kindle was the first thing I packed! I read it in the airport terminal whilst waiting to depart. I read it on the plane. I read it during my seven hour lay-over at LAX Airport and then read it during the fourteen hour flight to Australia.
I find that I am telling complete strangers of its virtues, as if I were a salesperson for Amazon.com!
One needs to be careful not to press the 'Next Page' bar by mistake and I would like to see the on/off buttons on the front of the Kindle if at all possible on the next version.
I love being able to have wireless access (USA only)to download samples of books that I may be interested in purchasing, and then if I decide to purchase, it is there on my Kindle in less than 60 seconds. The price of the Kindle books that I have purchased is fabulous (so far all of them have been less than $10).
Thank you to all the people involved in the creation of the Kindle. I, for one, love it.

Summary: So Easy to Love!
Comment: Got my Kindle last night, and I have to say it is everything positive that has been said in all the other reviews. It works like a dream, and I could not be happier. By the way, I am one of the people who bought it refurbished, and Amazon has every reason to stand behind it as if it were new because let me tell you, it came in perfect, flawless condition. It is a godsend for people who love to read. Way to go Amazon!!!!

Summary: Love my Kindle, Interested in the Next Generation!
Comment: I would love to know when the next generation is coming out. There are features I would like to see on the Kindle. I am thinking of purchasing one for my daughter. If the next generation is coming out in the near future I would prefer to wait. I Love My Kindle and am extremely glad I got it. With that said, my daughter and I agree there are features we would like to see added. The first being that the on and off switch are located somewhere you don't have to knock the book out of cover to reach. Second that the page turners are reduced in size so there is more space to hold the book. Third that the book would lite up, like a cell phone etc.....don't know if that one is possible but it sure would be wonderful. The features I love, all my books and papers, magazines etc. in one convient place and all fit in my purse at one time. Second I can, get any book I would like in minutes, third that I can get a free sample of a couple of chapters to make up my mind before I purchase. Even with the couple of changes I would like to see made, I would purchase it all over again......well worth the money. Although I did pay 300 from the Oprah special and feel that is a better price.

Comment: This is a great, easy to set up, easy to use product. And I love how quickly I can download books and periodicals. And it's so environmentally friendly because it saves on paper! The only thing I wish it would do is some how "glow in the dark" so I can read in the dark.

Summary: Amazing Amazon Kindle
Comment: The Amazon Kindle is my most favorite gadget ever! It's a book lover's dream come true. The Kindle is compact enough to carry in my purse, therefore I have numerous books and magazines to choose from wherever I may be.
I love the option to sample books before I buy them. The free trial on magazines is nice also.
I can't wait to travel with my Kindle, knowing that I will save space in my luggage, money for checking bags, and time deciding what reading material to take.
It also feels good and helps my budget to be able to purchase best sellers at a good price.
I could go on and on about the wonders of my Kindle, but I'll end by saying buy one and you won't be sorry!
