Editorial Reviews:

The Bella Band is a seamless knit band you wear at your waistline, over your unbuttoned pre-pregnancy pants, over slightly big maternity pants, or around the waistband of any maternity style that falls down around your hips. The Bella Band holds your pants up, disguising bulky unfastened closures or excessive fabric creating a smooth belly surface. Now, no one has to know your pants are undone or loose. Wear the Bella Band concealed, or let it peek out from under your top for that hip, layered look. If your top rises, it looks like a t-shirt or camisole -- not a funky mechanism to expand your waistband or hold up your pants.

Summary: Worth the money
Comment: I think this is worth it. I'm beginning my 5th month and have used this with some jeans and a couple pairs of work pants. I would say that it works the best with the work pants because it doesn't slide as much. I also discovered you have to get it pulled down nice and low over your hips for it to grab. It slips more with my jeans, but I don't really have to adjust it any more than I would a form-fitting top. I think it would probably hold better if it had elastic in the bottom hem. It doesn't exactly camoflauge the bumps made by your unbuttoned pants, but it does cover half-zipped zippers. For security, I always use a hair-band or rubber band to attach my button to the button hole and then wear the band overtop. I'm not sure that it's strong enough to actually hold up too-loose maternity pants, but I haven't had to try that yet. Overall, I'm glad I purchased one, but I'm not so wowed by it that I feel the need to get a bunch of other colors.

Summary: Great product!
Comment: My friend got this and said she loved it, so of course I had to try it. It's a great product when pants don't fit - and you don't have to worry about people noticing because it fits so well to your body. The only problem I've had with it is that my hips are a little larger and I ordered a Size 1 because my pre-pregnancy size was a 6. I feel I probably should have gone with a Size 2 because when i sit down and stand up I have to adjust the back because it seems to roll up easily. Other than that, NO COMPLAINTS! It keeps everything tucked in the front, even though I can't button my pants and the zipper is only coming up halfway. It's very comfortable, too!

Comment: I love my bella band! It is so comfortable and I love that I get to wear all my favorite jeans still! Definitely would recommend :)

Summary: Good Idea But Other Companies Do It Better
Comment: I am 13 weeks pregnant and ordered this after the good reviews. I have to say that I like the bands I have from Motherhood Maternity better. The Bella Band has a label on the outside on the bottom, so others can tell it isn't just a t-shirt. Also, the interior tag is on the bottom and you could see it through the band. I think it is really dumb that they don't put it at the top where people couldn't see it. The bands from Motherhood don't have an exterior label and instead of an interior label on the bottom they have a tagless label on the top. All the bands rode up a little for me (I'm 5'4" and 132 pounds) but I do like them and I am able to unbutton my pants and the band keeps them up.

Summary: Better than a rubber band
Comment: This is a very good product for extending the life of your pre-pregnancy wardrobe well into your second trimester. Also, it helps hold up/smooth out those too loose maternity bottoms.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is...I feel like I am frequently pulling it back down at the bottom. It has a tendency to ride up after sitting down or after driving in the car. I wish it had a little rubber grip at the bottom to help prevent this. Also the extra layer is a little hot in the summertime.
All that said, it is worth the price. I bought two, one in white and one in black and had plans to buy more, but I really only ever wear the white one. There's really no need to get it in every color.
