A layer of super-soft, hypoallergenic Dupont polyester fiber floats over top of a water layer and provides outstanding comfort. The water pouch secured to the base of the pillow provides responsive head and neck support. A thermal insulator fully encases the water layer to prevent body heat from being drawn from the head, neck and shoulders. Easy to follow instructions show how much water to add for soft, medium and firm support. Optional quilted cover.

Comment: I will not hold it against the cover. I did not like the medi-flow pillow. The concept sounded cool. Big disappointment. The cover is comfortable and well constructed.

Comment: Worth the extra money. I am on my 3rd water pillow and the previous two were used without the cover and after a couple of years the fabric and padding on the pillows had turned very yellow from the absorbtion of perspiration. This will extend the life of a wonderful pillow.

Comment: I was diagnosed with nerve,disc and arthritis in my neck. When I would go to sleep in the evening I would wake up with a stiff neck and have a headache all day from my neck problems. When I received my water pillow I couldn't wait to use it. I can honestly say I have definitely had more restful nights and less headaches. The reason I rate it four stars is because my neck still bothers me at times.

Comment: Love it love it love it. This is my second one of these. Wait, I thought I already wrote a review of this product. Anyway, it's great for my chronic neck aches. That's where I carry my stress and this allows me to sleep comfortably and not wake up in pain with muscle spasms. I highly recommend it.
