Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Good when it works! Comment: With the battery fully charged, the unit does what it is supposed to. However, beware this product due to the high incidence of defective charging systems. The solar cell which is supposed to charge the batteries during the day is defective 2 out of 3 times. In effect, the batteries are not getting charged during the day (or not enough in any case). What you end up with is a dim, weak light for a couple of hours. I believe this is due to defective units, but there are too many of them defective. Customer Rating: Summary: Great light, strong Comment: Love these spots. This one's not too bright, but it's installed easily and works fine in our garden. Extra lighting like this works fine for home security, works even if there's power outage at night.
