Hayley Mills, Special Academy Award(R) winner for 1960's POLLLYANNA, lights up the screen in Disney's fondly remembered release of THE PARENT TRAP. Mills stars as Susan and Sharon, identical twins separated at birth. Neither twin knows the other exists until a simple twist of fate finds them at the same summer camp. Then, realizing who they are, they plan a little twist of their own. They switch places with high hopes of getting their parents back together. This delightful and heartwarming comedy will have your whole family doubling up with laughter. First time on DVD! In the full-length sequel THE PARENT TRAP II, Hayley Mills returns to reprise her roles as identical twins Sharon and Susan. Now all grown up, Sharon is a single mom whose 11-year-old daughter Nikki is just as mischievous as she was! During summer school Nikki and her new friend Mary turn into scheming matchmakers when they try to get Sharon and Mary's widowed father together. Not quite able to make it happen, they turn to the one person who can really help -- Sharon's twin Susan!

Customer Rating: Summary: Bless Their Broken Home Comment: While growing up "The Parent Trap" series was always one of my favorites. Hayley Mills is a very talented actress and Disney never fails to make me smile.
The very first "Parent Trap" introduces you to Sharon from Boston and Susan from California. The teens meet at a summer camp and after winding up in solitude with each other discover they are not only sisters but TWIN sisters. They begin one of the greatest plots in history....The Parent Trap.
The Parent Trap II continues the fun as Susan rushes to Sharon's side with the help of Sharon's daughter. No matter how old, how young, or where you come from...this is a movie to enjoy for decades to come.
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome movie Comment: I have loved this movie from the first time that I saw it when I was little. I am glad to have bought this movie for my own collection. The movie came very quickly and in great condition.
Customer Rating: Summary: Lovely classic movie! Comment: There is nothing like the original movie and the original cast to evoke memories of my girls watching this and laughing as they sat upon my lap. I love the two leads in the movie, Maureen O'Hara and the male lead who is now gone. The girl who played the dual roles as the twins was superb. Getting old, can't remember any names anymore.
Customer Rating: Summary: Far Superior to the Lindsay Lohan re-do. Comment: I can't count the number of times I have watched this movie, that my children have begged to watch it, or the times we have laughed at scenes that we knew were coming up. This is a great movie for the whole family, and does not have all the snot-nosed attitude that the newer version has. Haley Mills is adorable, and does a superb job as both daughters in this version. Brian Keith, and Maureen O'Hara are wonderful as her parents as well. Add this one to your classics collection. You will not be disappointed.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Parent Trap & Parent Trap II Comment: I thought the combination movies were excellent. I saw the original Parent Trap II years ago and loved it. It was even better now. It is a movie that the whole family can watch and enjoy together.
