Summary: Horrible, broke first day I used it.
Comment: I would never buy one of these again. It seemed sturdy til it fell from about 3 1/2 feet & popped. It was the FIRST time I used it. Not good.

    Summary: Great product
Comment: Because of reviews complaining of splitting and leaking, I bought two of these. I figured each one would work for a week and then be "retired". To my surprise I'm stilling using my first bag after well over 30 days of use. I generally don't fill it with more then 3-4 gallons of water at a time which may be helping its longevity.

We use this as a kitchen faucet while out in the woods and it works great. For people expecting piping hot showers from this - it takes several hours of DIRECT sunlight with the bag perpendicular to the solar rays to truly get HOT. That means at noon the bag should be laying on the ground with a towel under it to help insulate it. In the morning and evenings it should be hung vertical, and the rest of the day it should be propped up at a 45 degree angle. Also don't expect it to be any warmer then the outside temperature on cloudy or overcast days. I think some of the reviews regarding how poorly it heats the water are due to overly high expectations.

    Summary: Best on/off valve
Comment: Most of these bags seem to be about the same except for the control valve. Some have valves up at the point where the hose leaves the bag; that's not nearly as convenient as having the valve at the end of the nozzle, where you just pull/push to turn it on/off. This bag has that better type of valve.

Summary: Ready for a hot shower
Comment: We have two of these and use them often. I fill it up, lay it on the picnic table and when we get back from a day of hiking and getting dirty we all have nice hot showers waiting.
the only problem is that the hose gets a kink in it and the valve is a bit cheesy, but to have a nice hot shower in the middle of nowhere is worth fighting the valve

    Summary: Must-Have for Camping
Comment: In just a couple of hours the water was hot - if we left it in the sun all afternoon, it would have to be cooled down by adding more water before we could use it. My husband had a hard time filling it (we used lake water)but I would just swirl it around in the lake, holding the fill valve open, and had no problem getting it full. It did take a couple minutes of standing in the lake, though. I was very happy with the shower for the money I spent. I would like a nozzle that could be opened and closed with one hand. This nozzle required two hands to shut the water off. I loved being clean before I got into my tent at night. Your feet always get dirty walking back from the lake.
