Editorial Reviews:

Invicta's Pro Diver automatic watch (model 9210) is perfect for the serious diver who also wants to turn heads with a stylish watch. This precise timepiece features a solid silver stainless steel case that measures 44mm (1.73 inches) wide, with a silver unidirectional rotating bezel with embossed markings and coin-edged, scalloped highlights. It has a silver dial background with luminous Tritnite hands (with seconds hand) and dotted luminous dial markers with small minute indexes. The silver stainless steel bracelet band mixes brushed and polished links. Other features include day and date function at 3 o'clock and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet).

An automatic watch is a mechanical watch that is self-winding. the movement of your wrist and body causes the rotor--a weight attached to an automatic winding mechanism--to wind up the watch. This automatic watch has 21 jewels, which are ruby stones that the gears turn on to protect the metal parts from grinding together. An automatic watch needs no battery, but it will stop if now worn for over a day or if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time. If this happens, wind the crown ten times clockwise to start the watch and five it some reserve power.

Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

Summary: The picture doesn't show the actual look
Comment: The actual product looks OK, but it is a bit different from what the picture here shows. The bezel is more shining and lacks the luminous dot at the 0-minute position. The dial is very grey.

The bezel does not turn as easily as #8926.

Summary: Everything I expect in a lower end Invicta...
Comment: This watch is what you expect it to be... a looker while being dependable and affordable. The watch tells accurate time, and feels good on the wrist.

There was an issue with the delivery which was on DHL's side, as Amazon support was more than helpful in trying to do what they can to remedy the situation.

Back to the watch...the watch itself could use some improvements, such as a better click on the bezel and a more substantial bracelet. Honestly though, Rolex bracelet's are no better than Invictas; a more substantial bracelet is just a personal preference. I replaced Invicta's bracelet with a heavier and more solid aftermarket oyster band. This is not to knock the watch. It's a basic timekeeper based on the workhorse Citizen Miyota movement, which also has its faults... Bottom line though, for the price you pay, you're getting a good value. It won't beat a Seiko for overall build quality for the price paid, but for more or less $100 (depending on your ship options) you are getting a watch that looks like a more expensive one.

My one suggestion to Invicta...how about a solid caseback? The Miyota movement is really not much to look at, and I'd rather not. I'd like a sapphire crystal too, but for the price paid, beggars can't be choosers.
At $200 or so I'd be on the fence, but at $100 or less, it's definitely a good buy.

Summary: Great product, terrible customer service
Comment: Had order delayed by a week without any update to shipping time on my account. Asked for an update or reduction in shipping charges via e-mail or to cancel order, Amazon opted to just cancel order without responding or appologizing. response to inquiry on this was too bad sir, you will have to re-order now. Bottom line is poor follow-up, communication, shipping and delivery estimates. Better companies out there that actually appreciate your business.

Summary: Looks like it cost many time more
Comment: I am extremely impressed with the feel, look and general quality of the watch. It contains the Citizen Miyota 21 jewel automatic movement that is a true workhorse for a fraction of the price. The comfortable stainess steel pinned link bracelet is worth the price of the watch. It has rounded flexible brushed steel wrist links The foldover adjustable double safety clasp uses pins as well. Can easily be mistaken for a watch costing much more. The Mineral Glass crystal is scratch resistant - but not as good as a sapphire watch face, but is less prone to chipping or shattering than a sapphire crystal. The display watchback is also mineral glass - displaying the undecorated Miyota automatic movement. It look as stylish and run as well as my other watches, and, I receive as many comments if not more from the Invicta's. It is a great looking watch! Good value, accurate and stylish if you like the Sub' look. This is a good day-to-day knock about watch that still looks better than the quartz stuff in the same price band.

Summary: Bad Purchase
Comment: This is my first time purchased at Amazon. The product I purchased is what I expected. However, I must say Amazon extremely needs to improve customer service and organizational skill. The watch I purchased did not include any sale receipt. There was no warranty information included. And most of all, no instruction manual came with the watch. The box for the watch is torn and ripped apart. This is not to mention I had a defective watch shipped to me before. Obviously I have overrated Amazon before my purchase. After this experience, I felt as though I made a purchase on-line through a "mom and pop" business versus a fortune 500 company. I don't think it would take a rocket scientist to figure out if I will make any future purchase at Amazon.
