Editorial Reviews:

Molinari Hot Salame is a spicy, Calabrese style all pork dry salami. P.G. Molinari is a name that has meant excellence in Italian salami and sausage for over 100 years. Founded in 1896, Molinari & Sons has carried on the traditional Italian art of sausage-making in the cool climate of San Francisco. Try Molinari and see why it reigns as the choicest brand of Italian meats in the United States. 2 links/Approximate Net Weight: 1.5 lbs

Summary: The best hot salami around!
Comment: This is truly a special, delicious treat. I love to eat chorizo and soppressetta salame, but this one is the king. I find most salami pretty boring otherwise.

The hot flavor of it really isn't all that hot - it just adds zip to otherwise boring salame. It's best served sliced very, very thinly (almost paper-thin) and enjoy it with really good, fresh italian crusty bread and asiago cheese. There is simply no others like this salami. I used to get it all the time at Byerly's when I was living in Minnesota; now that I live in the boonies in upstate NY, Amazon has saved the day by providing this salame on their on-line store.
