Customer Rating: Summary: Great speakers Comment: These are really great speakers for my computer. They have great sound and do their job perfectly!!! Customer Rating: Summary: More than satisfied Comment: My work computer has awful sound, and it'll be 2012 before IT gets around to installing new speakers. I really work better with music, so the Logitech Speakers seemed like a great deal: not too expensive with relatively good sound. When I opened the box I was impressed at how expensive they looked, and have had several co-workers stop by and admire them....and should they disappear from my desk one evening, I won't have spend an arm and a leg to get new ones. The sound quality is great for what I need, just some nice background noise at the office to cancel out all the yapping. It's safe to say these speakers have made me a happier person. Customer Rating: Summary: Surprising quality for the price. Comment: I purchased these on clearance at Kinko's for only $10. My nicest set of speakers at home were broken, so I replaced them with the decent set I had at my office. Well, I still needed speakers for the office and I trust Logitech, so I thought I'd give these a whirl.
I was totally impressed! No, there isn't much bass, but mids and highs are nice and clear without distortion. The shielded cables prevent interference and produce a clean low-hiss sound. Stereo separation is surprisingly good, arguably better than some of my nicer speakers.
You could always plug in a sub later on, and these are still nice to have as satellite units.
Are they sonically mindblowing? No.
Are they amazing for ten bucks? Absolutely. I recommend them for anyone needing a little sound for a small space. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for TV, movies and talk; OK for music Comment: I bought these speakers to get better sound from my cheap HDTV. I simply connected them through the TV's earphone jack and am very pleased with the results. The sound is smooth and full for speech without too much bass or treble as is common with cheap computer speakers. I find them extremely pleasant for voice and normal TV dialogue. They only start to sound tinny when playing some types of music, but even then they are not awful by any means. For the price they are well worth it. Customer Rating: Summary: can make sound out, not for serious use Comment: I'm using this speaker to test some audio applications, so it's just fine for me, although I found the right channel is weaker than left channel, plus some noise (very low noise, I found it because I put the right speaker very close to my ear). If for personal home use, I wont buy it.
