The narrow strap is very feminine and the shoe really cushions my foot as I walk. I think the quality of the sandal is excellent although I wish it cost a little less, but you get what you pay for and these shoes should last a long time. There are a variety of comfortable cushioning with this California origin brand. The first time I wrote the double stack sandals in 2002, I felt as though I was walking in sneakers. Years later, I need to buy new ones because I haven't taken care of the leather, so it is cracked. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have lasted much longer. They take some time to break in, but they are very comfortable. Plus, with many of the casual looks that are popular with the preteen to 20's look such as Abercrombie & Fitch, these sandals compliment the look.
